How Much Did Pawan's Janasena Make From Electoral Bonds?

Vijayawada: Former Jana Sena senior leader Pothina Venkata Mahesh, who recently joined YSRCP, fired a salvo of questions at Pawan Kalyan over electoral bond donations to the party. He demanded the opposition leader to share the details of donations received through electoral bonds on the party’s website for transparency. He warned that he would reveal the details of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s benami properties if he does not come clean on it. 

Addressing a media conference here on Saturday, Pothina Mahesh remarked it is a well known fact that the Jana Sena leader took a monetary ‘package’ from the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. He said Pawan Kalyan should reveal how many benami properties he bought after his 'Mulaqat' with 'Khaidi No 7691' Chandrababu Naidu at Sneha Block in Rajahmundry Central jail. It can be noted here that Naidu was lodged in jail following his arrest in the multi-crore skill development scam in 2023. 

Continuing his criticism of Pawan Kalyan, the YSRCP leader sought to know how much donations did Jana Sena party receive from the NRI party supporters in the name of tenant farmers and what percentage did the party distribute it among the farmers? He also targeted Nadendla Manohar, who is a chairman of Jana Sena Party political affairs committee, and asked the source of Rs 10 crore sum which he reportedly spent to buy a sports car. 

He remarked that Pawan Kalyan has got only one job to do and that is to ensure the victory of TDP in the forthcoming elections in the state. He also wondered if Jana Sena would be merged with the TDP as Naidu is holding teleconferences with the janasainiks.
