Go Back Chandrababu, Dalit Groups In Gollapudi

Dalit groups gathered to protest against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's visit to Gollapudi. A tense situation prevailed in Gollapudi. Many Dalit groups expressed anguish over Chandrababu Naidu who extended his support towards Devineni Uma. Holding placards, they raised slogans 'Go Back Babu'.  

Dalit groups reached the Gollapudi panchayat office in the morning and they tried to stop Chandrababu Naidu.  Police stopped the members of Dalit groups. The leaders of Dalit groups, speaking to the media said that Devineni Uma, who was in power for fifteen years, had not given even a cent of the land to the Dalits.

They lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu and said that he did politics in the name of Dalits. They added that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is working for the welfare of the Dalits. They said that Devineni Uma should stop plotting conspiracies against Dalits or else they will teach a lesson to TDP.
