 - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again rejected the reports which stated that the YSRCP government may go in for early polls in the State. Addressing a State Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the Chief Minister clarified that the State Assembly elections will be held on schedule.

YS Jagan said we still have nine months time before the Election Commission announces the date of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. He exhorted the ministers to work hard and ensure a second term in office for the YSR Congress party.

The Chief Minister further said the ministers and legislators should proactively reach out to the people and explain to them the people-friendly initiatives introduced by the YSRCP government. He said every leader at the booth-level should tirelessly work for consolidating the party’s vote bank ahead of state polls.

CM YS Jagan told the ministers that they should not take the opposition TDP’s manifesto seriously and work for the betterment of the party and he will take care of the rest. The time has come to go into the people and educate them about the welfare activities being carried out for the people of the state by the government, the chief minister added.
