Employees' Union leaders thank CMJagan

AP Government Employees Federation leaders expressed gratitude to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan on service matters. The Chief Minister has resolved the seniority issue of MPDOs pending for the past 25 years besides sanctioning 51 DLDO posts and giving promotions to 250 employees and also sanctioning 26 DLO posts in the newly created 26 divisions for which Cabinet has given the nod.

APGF Chairman K Venkarami Reddy led the delegation comprising Group I Officers' Union leaders Srikanth Reddy, Mahes, Bharghavi and others.

Amid fears of economic fallout and a broader trade war with multiple countries, American President Donald Trump on Thursday postponed 25% tariffs on many imports from Mexico and some parts from Canada for a month. Even though the White House insists that the tariffs imposed are to stop the smuggling of fentanyl, Trump's tax proposal has wounded the decades-long partnership between America and its allies - Mexico and Canada.
