Differences Erupt in TDP-Jana Sena Alliance After Bhuma Akhila Snubbed Jana Sena
Nandyal: TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is grappling with internal discord and rebellion among the party’s rank and file ever since he stepped out of Rajamahendravaram central prison. Even as party leadership facing the challenger from disgruntled leaders in Chittoor, now the bickering in the undivided Kurnool TDP unit has come to the fore.
The opposition party chief will visit Allagadda Assembly constituency on Tuesday. TDP leader Bhuma Akhila Priya is leaving no stone unturned to mobilise the people to Naidu’s Raa Kadiliraa public meeting scheduled to be held near BBR school in Nandyal district.
Meanwhile, Akhila dropped a bombshell saying that former AP Minor Irrigation Corporation (APMIC) Chairman AV Subba Reddy will not be allowed to attend the public meeting. Akhila warned Reddy that if he still showed up at the event, her followers’ reaction would be beyond her control.
It is understood given the clashes that took place between the TDP leaders at Kothapalli during party’s national general secretary Nara Lokesh’s Yuva Galam padayatra and her subsequent arrest following a complaint from Subba Reddy.
However, Akhila took things a notch higher when she cautioned the ally Jana Sena Party leaders not share the dais with Naidu during the Allagadda public meeting. Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party has strongly reacted to Akhila’s snub and has asked the janasainiks to stay away from tomorrow’s public meeting.
