Amaravati: Representatives of several Government employees’ unions, including AP JAC Amaravati, called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Tuesday and expressed their gratitude for the Cabinet decisions relating to the employees.

Indira Prabhavati, who has been working as ANM at Bairluty PHC in Atmakur Mandal of Kurnool district on contract basis for more than 20 years, was among those who called on the Chief Minister.

She became emotional as she expressed her gratitude to him for regularizing the services of contract employees.

“So far, no Government has taken note of the plight of the contract employees. Your decision to regularize our services has driven away darkness from our families and brought us happiness. Our families would be indebted to you throughout our lives,” she said tears rolling down her eyes.
