CM YS Jagan: A True People's Leader Who Champions For Their Growth & Development

 - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has always stood with the people of the state through thick and thin. Many consider him as godsent and their ray of hope who is helping them realise their dreams.

There is an old adage that a mother does not give what is not asked for. Similarly, the chief minister YS Jagan is ready to help the people whenever they reach out to him for help.  Over the years, the chief minister has earned the people’s goodwill by fulfilling his promises. If he makes a promise, he will fulfil it and he’s never fooled the people with empty promises.

He’s been helping the farmers, people who need medical and health services, providing pensions to the elderly, disabled and widows, introducing several initiatives for women's empowerment and taking care of education and civic needs.

He did not stop there – the welfare schemes introduced by the YSRCP government to help the poor and disadvantaged communities are a product of CM Jagan's visionary leadership. Undeterred by the criticism of the opposition parties, the chief minister is committed to implementing these programmes.

Come rain or shine, breakout of a pandemic like Covid-19 or or unforeseen events take place, YS Jagan has always responded to their calls with “I am here for you.”  Through his able leadership, the chief minister has proved time again that his administration is not one of empty rhetoric but real, tangible development.

CM Jagan has never left the people of the state to fend for themselves when they’re hit by natural disasters, joblessness or grief. He empathised with the distressed people and victims and ensured that they received immediate relief from the government in difficult times.

When cyclone Michaung wreaked havoc in the coastal area of Andhra Pradesh, the chief minister immediately pressed the entire administration into the service of the affected people and ensured the quick release of compensation for farmers who lost their standing crops due to the recent storm after the enumeration of loss of paddy crops. He also promised to the farmers that the government will buy every single discoloured grain from them.

The chief minister put the sufferings of the people of Uddanam in Srikakulam by constructing the YSR Sujaladhara project which fulfils the long-cherished dream of 807 villages. The people of Uddanam region kept highlighting their plight since the 1990s that due to lack of purified drinking water the locals were getting kidney ailments but the previous governments did not pay heed to their demands. He also inaugurated the newly built 200-bed Dr YSR kidney research centre-cum-superspeciality hospital in the region and thus the chief minister fulfilled his promise made to the people of Uddanam. As CM YS Jagan turned a year older today, the people of the state are celebrating his birthday with this message: “Happy Birthday Jagananna! May God bless you with a thousand years of health and prosperity!”
