YS Jagan Meets Prime Minister Modi
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday and discussed several key issues related to the state.
He is also likely to meet central ministers and discuss various issues related to the state.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve pending bifurcation issues between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and also requested to release pending Resource Gap Funding of Rs 36,625 crores for the financial year 2014-15 and appropriate instructions be given to the concerned departments.
YS Jagan also requested Modi to intervene on restrictions that have now been imposed on state borrowing limits. Although this government is not at fault, they have also reduced the loan limit given as per the norms. A debt ceiling of Rs.42,472 crore was provided in 2021-22 and reduced by Rs.17,923 crore in the subsequent period, YS Jagan informed the Prime Minister.
