CM Jagan Meets Geetanjali’s Family Who Ended Life Due to TDP’s Social Media Trolling

Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Gulti Geetanjali Devi’s family during the 'Social Media Influencers Toh Mukhamukhi' program at Chennas Convention Centre, Peddipalem, Visakhapatnam district.

29-year-old Geetanjali from Islampet, Tenali, took the extreme step after she was trolled on social media by workers of the opposition parties TDP and Jana Sena for expressing gratitude towards Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and MLA Annabathuni Siva Kumar for providing her family with a house in Jagananna colony. She was found in an injured state near Tenali Railway Station but later succumbed to the injuries.

During the program, G. Balachandra, Geethanjali’s husband, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Jagan for his support and appealed for continued support to his family. In response, the Chief Minister also reassured Balachandra for further support.

Following the event, the Chief Minister personally interacted with Geethanjali’s husband and their two daughters, Rishita and Rishika.
