Chandrababu Naidu Faces Heat From Own Party Members

 - Sakshi Post

Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), is facing criticism from senior party members and leaders for his stubbornness and favouritism in allocation of seats for the upcoming elections. Senior party members including Kala Venkatarao and Somireddy did not make it to the second list. This has caused great anger and dissatisfaction amongst the candidates.

In Nellore, Polam Reddy and Bandaru Satyanarayana were denied seats, causing shock and disappointment. The joint Vishakhapatnam leaders are also expressing their displeasure over Chandrababu's behaviour.

The TDP leaders are fuming over non-allocation of tickets and are even considering resigning from the party. The wave of resignations from TDP has begun in Vishaka district, with Gandi Babji, the South constituency in-charge of TDP, stepping down in protest of the allocation of the Vishaka seat to the Jana Sena. Pasarla Prasad was hoping for the West Vizag seat also resigned from TDP a few days ago. It is reported that few more leaders are ready to resign from TDP due to alleged favouritism and bias in allocation of seats.

In Puttaparthi, TDP party workers protested at Chandrababu's residence. They demanded that the tickets must be allocated to the BC's and expressed their grief that Chandrababu has been cheating the Vadderas for the past 30 years. The TDP chief allotted a ticket to Palle Raghunatha Reddy's daughter-in-law, causing further displeasure amongst the Vaddera community.
