Bride Dies Hours After Wedding Dance
Parvathipuram: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 20-year-old newlywed bride passed away just hours after dancing with her husband at their wedding celebration on Friday. The incident occurred in Dabbagedda, Makkuva mandal of Parvathipuram Manyam district.
Akhila, from Kothavalasa village in Parvathipuram mandal and Bhaskara Rao had tied the knot on Friday night, and the festivities continued until the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to reports, Akhila, an orphan raised by her grandparents, danced joyfully with her husband, Bhaskara Rao, to the tunes of DJ songs. The wedding procession lasted until 3 a.m. Feeling tired, she went to her bedroom and fell asleep. On Saturday morning, when relatives attempted to wake her, she remained unresponsive.
The bride was immediately rushed to the Makkuva Primary Health Center, where she received basic medical care. Recognizing the urgency of her condition, she was then transferred to the Saluru Community Health Center for further treatment. Sadly, upon examination, the doctors confirmed that Akhila had already passed away.
Villagers and relatives presumed that fasting the day before the wedding and the subsequent exertion from dancing may have contributed to dehydration and this led to her untimely demise.
