BJP is Infiltrated by TDP Coverts: AP Dy CM Kottu Satyanarayana
VIjayawada: In view of Union home minister Amit Shah’s recent remarks at a Visakhapatnam rally, Deputy Chief Minister Kottu Satyanarayana on Tuesday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has many TDP coverts.
Referring to critical remarks made by Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda in their speeches, Satyanarayana said the Union minister and the BJP chief have only said what was given to them by the TDP coverts.
The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that there are no differences between the BJP-led Centre and YSRCP-led State government. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appreciated the governance of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on several occasions.
The YSRCP leader questioned the need for criticising the state government in a meeting held to celebrate achievements of PM Modi’s nine years’ rule.
“They should fulfill the promise of granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh state and implement a separate railway zone and announce withdrawal of the decision to privatise Visakhapatnam steel plant,” Satyanarayana added.
