Balakrishna and Pawan Bought Lands, Didn't They Get Originals?: CM Jagan
Palnadu: If you want the good governance and corruption-free administration to continue, re-elect the YSRCP and in case if you give your vote to the TDP, the welfare schemes will be discontinued, chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cautioned people.
Addressing the final poll meeting at Chilakaluripet as the election campaign comes to an end in Andhra Pradesh today, CM Jagan asked the enthusiastic gathering, “Are you ready (people of) Chilakaluripet?” He asked the people if they are ready to break the previous record of polling and winning margin of YSRCP candidates. He said these elections will shape the future of every household, so people should choose their government wisely.
Thanking God and the people for their blessings, CM Jagan said the state has seen unprecedented reforms during the last 59 months of YSRCP regime in the state. He said the YSRCP government has deposited Rs 2.70 lakh crore into the bank accounts of beneficiaries for various schemes.
He said the ruling government has distributed tabs to school going students, introduced IB syllabus in government schools, provided bilingual books to students, Jagananna Gorumudda, Jagananna Amma Vodi scheme which provide financial assistance to poor mothers for sending their children to school. He also highlighted how elderly and poor people are getting benefited from the welfare schemes. YSR Aarogyasri scheme is providing free medical treatment up to Rs 25 lakh to 4.25 crore people.
CM Jagan said Monday’s election is a battle between poor and feudalistic forces. He said all the opposition parties have ganged up only to take on the YSRCP regime. Targeting the opposition TDP and Jana Sena for leading a misinformation campaign against the Land Titling Act, the chief minister said the TDP MLA and Chandrababu Naidu’s relative Balakrishna purchased lands in Visakhapatnam while the foster son (referring to Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan) in other places. CM asked the opposition leaders to reveal if they received the original land registration documents or xerox copies? He added that 9 lakh people have registered their lands in Andhra Pradesh, however, Naidu has stooped to so low that he’s trying hard to tarnish the image of ruling party ahead of elections through a misleading and misinformation campaign.
