AP SSC Results 2024 Out, Girls Outshine Boys
The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) announced its Class 10th results today, April 22. Commissioner of the School Education Department, Suresh Kumar, declared the AP SSC results 2024 at 11 am through a press conference held in Vijayawada.
The 10th class examinations were conducted across 3,473 centers in the state from March 18 to March 30. A total of 6.23 lakh regular students and 1.02 lakh private candidates wrote the examinations this year. Of the 6.23 lakh regular students, 86.69% passed. The pass percentage for boys stood at 84.32%, while for girls it was 89.17%. The results saw 2,803 schools achieving a remarkable 100 percent pass percentage, while 17 schools recorded zero passing students.
The Board released the results earlier than last year when they were announced on May 6. Authorities attribute this timely declaration to the completion of exams 15 days in advance and the upcoming election schedule in the state.
In 2023, a total of 664,152 students registered for the exams. 609,081 students appeared for the exams. 437,196 students passed the exams. The overall pass percentage was 72.26%. The pass percentage for girls was 75.38%. The pass percentage for boys was 69.27%.
