AP Intermediate 2022 Exam results: The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate has declared the AP inter 1st and 2nd year results 2022 of general and vocational streams on June 22nd at 12: 30 PM. Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana released the Inter results CD and the code along with the Board of Intermediate Education Chairman at a function held in Tadepalli in Guntur district.

The AP Intermediate Board announcing results within 28 days was a record of sorts and this was the first physical examination conducted after two years after the COVID Pandemic. The examinations were conducted adhering to the COVID protocols by the education department. The Inter Board conducted the exams under the supervision of CCTV cameras for the first time also.

Out of the total 9,41,358 students who wrote the Inter first and second-year exams, the number of students who appeared for the first-year intermediate exams was 4,45,604, while 4,23,455 wrote the second-year intermediate. The number of vocational students who took the exam was 72,299- which were held from May 5 to 23.

Announcing the pass percentage the Education Minister said that  2,41,591 passed the first year intermediate recording a 54 % pass percentage. The number of students who passed the second year was 2,58,449 recording a 61 percent pass percentage.

The Minister said that the girls had fared better than the boys this year 2022 in the intermediate examinations.

Botsa Satyanarayana said that Krishna District had recorded the highest pass percentage of 72% in the State. Speaking further he said that the students who want to go for recounting and re-verification can apply for the same on the website from June 25th to July 5, he announced. Intermediate Programme Advanced Supplementary Exams or IPASE exams will be held from August 3 to 12 in two sessions.

Students can appear for failed subjects and for improvement and the last date for payment for the IPASE exams is 8th of July 2022.
