AP Govt Changes Curfew Timings For Office-going People

Andhra Pradesh government is taking all the steps to control the spread of coronavirus. The curfew in AP has been extended till June 30. However, curbs have been relaxed by an additional four hours till 6 pm. The curfew will be in force from 6 pm to 6 am daily from June 21 in the state except East Godavari district which continues to register more number of coronavirus cases.

In the view of second wave of COVID-19, AP had imposed curfew on May 5th and it has been extending from time to time. Now, from today, the buses are plying on the roads. Government offices, banks are going to work as usual. The working hours for the government employees in the state are 9.30 am to 5 pm with lock down relaxations. CS Adityanath has issued orders stating that the working hours for government employees in East Godavari district are from 8.30 am to 1 pm.

Andhra Pradesh achieved a new milestone in vaccination against COVID-19 on Sunday. The state government took up the mega vaccination drive to vaccinate at least 10 lakh people on Sunday. Till now 1.33 crore doses were administered and of them, 1,06,91,200 got at least one dose while 27,02,159 got fully vaccinated.
