AP To Focus On E-Cropping

Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the Collectors and JCs to focus on e-cropping and check 10 per cent of it, adding that JDAs and DDAs should check 20 per cent e-cropping and agriculture officials and horticulture officials should check 30 per cent e-cropping.

He said digital and physical receipts should be issued under e-cropping and added not to bother farmers with land details and documents. He instructed the officials to focus on Agriculture Advisory Committee meetings and said these meetings should be held at RBK, Mandal and district levels. He instructed the district collectors to pay attention to the performance of the kiosks in RBKS and added to check on adulteration and price control.

The Chief Minister said banking correspondents would be placed in RBks and instructed the officials to monitor their performance. He stated that loans would be made available to tenant farmers, as well as input subsidies, insurance, and MSP for their crops. He asked them to take measures to ensure crop loans are provided to all those who are cultivating the crop.
