Pawan Kalyan Will Be Defeated in Pithapuram in YSRCP's Hands: Kapu leader Mudragada

Kakinada: Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, who is actively campaigning against Jana Sena Party, said Pawan Kalyan will taste defeat in Pithapuram Assembly constituency in the ensuing assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. 

Speaking to Sakshi on Saturday, Mudragada said the reason why Pawan Kalyan is still not written by the people is due to his filmy background. He said the youth, who are attracted to the on-screen persona of the Jana Sena leader, are following him. Talking of matinee idols, he said Pawan’s brother Chiranjeevi commands more following than him. He remarked that during the poll campaigns, Jana Sena leader is pushing the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu forward, while his chances of winning the Pithapuram seat are feeble. 

Kapu leader has been exhorting the Pithapuram voters to hand a resounding defeat to Pawan Kalyan in the elections. He alleged that he was assaulted during an arson attack in Tuni town at the behest of TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh. He lauded the efficient governance of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and aspired that YS Jagan should continue as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for a longer period than the former CM of West Bengal Jyoti Basu, who ruled the Bengal state for 23 uninterrupted years between 1977 and 2000.
