AP CM YS Jagan Pays Tributes To Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao On His Birth Anniversary

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid tributes to the former minister Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao on the occasion of his birth anniversary.  Minister of Transport Perni Venkataramaiah (Perni Nani), Minister of Agriculture Kannababu, Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopalakrishna, and few others paid tributes to Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao.

Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao was a staunch supporter of Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and stood by him until his last breath. He joined the YSR Congress floated by YS Jaganmohan in 2010. He was elected to the Assembly from Kadiyam on Congress ticket in the 1989, 1999, and 2004 elections. Rammohan Rao held roads and buildings and also excise portfolios in the YS Rajasekhara Reddy cabinets.

Rammohan Rao died at Bollineni Hospital in Rajahmundry in 2011 after a prolonged illness. He is survived by wife Vijayalakshmi, two sons and a daughter.
