Kondapi, Prakasam: Taking a dig at the TDP alliance manifesto fiasco, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, during the campaign at Pileru, said, "In the 2014 manifesto, Chandrababu's photo displayed alongside Modi and the adopted son (Pawan Kalyan) and the signed pamphlet sent to every household in the state. But before he unveiled the 2024 manifesto, BJP headquarters notified him not to use the Prime Minister's photo. This incident proves that his promises are unattainable, and BJP don't agree with it."

CM Jagan said the government’s difficulties in the distribution of pensions were due to the complaint of Bogus Babu (Chandrababu Naidu) during his first election campaign meeting of the day near Tangutur in Kondapi, Prakasam district.

The Chief Minister Jagan participated in one other meeting in Mydukur where he asked the people to compare the bogus report of TDP Chief Chandrababu and the progress report of YSRCP.

The Chief Minister said, “A leader should be trusted by the people and have faith in their promises. I stand here by achieving the promises in the last 58 months. But on the other hand, a person who was the Chief Minister for 14 years doesn’t have any single scheme benefiting the poor to remember.”

The Chief Minister reiterated that the upcoming election is not to elect MPs and MLAs but for the continuation of welfare schemes benefiting the poor for the next five years.

“Chandrababu has often proclaimed, ‘If you want a job, vote for Babu.’ But during his tenure, he had created only 32,000 jobs,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

He added that since Independence, 4 lakh government jobs were created in the state, but from 2019, YSRCP has added another 2.31 lakh jobs in various government institutions.

Highlighting the bogus report of Chandrababu in the agriculture sector, he said, “Chandrababu had promised that his first signature after assuming power would be to waive farm loans of Rs. 87,612 Cr apart from crop insurance, input subsidy for farmers among others.”

“Weren't you (Chandrababu) responsible for the Basheerbagh firing on farmers, who were protesting against a hike in power tariff?” asked Chief Minister Jagan while noting that in the last 58 months, YSRCP provided welfare for the farmers with various schemes.

Comparing the bogus report of Chandrababu Naidu, CM Jagan highlighted the achievements of the current government like the establishment of Sachivalayams, 12,000 Village/Ward Clinics, 12,000 Rythu Bharosa Kendras, Fibergrid, Digital Library, revamping of government schools and hospitals, 17 new medical colleges and the support towards MSMEs in the state.

“Our government is committed to fostering self-employment opportunities through initiatives like Rythu Bharosa, Cheyutha, Kapu Nestham, EBC Nestham, Aasara, Sunna Vaddi, Vahana Mitra, Nethanna Nestham, Matsyakara Bharosa, Jagananna Thodu, Jagananna Chedodu, and Law Nestham. It is important to note that every family in every household should benefit from welfare,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

The Chief Minister also said Chandrababu promised to retrieve the gold pledged in the bank but instead auctioned it.

“Further, it was Chandrababu who set up special police stations and special courts to investigate the farmers,” said CM Jagan.

Addressing the people at Mydukur, Chief Minister Jagan said, “Rs 2.70 lakh crore rupees through DBT was disbursed by our government, implemented 99% of the promises made in the manifesto, civic services delivered at doorstep without discrimination, and worked for social justice.”

He noted that the upcoming election between Jagan on one side and Chandrababu with his alliance partners. “Jagan’s victory in the election means the continuation of these revolutionary changes with two more steps forward. If you vote for Chandrababu, it will mean the end of all schemes,” said CM Jagan.

“Chandrababu, who recently crossed 75 years of age, has a history marked by lies and betrayal, with seemingly no regret over these decades. He is getting mad when I am reading the list of schemes implemented by our government,” CM Jagan further said.

Highlighting the government schemes of the current administration he said, “We have been disbursing Rs. 3000 as pension, which has never happened in the state or anywhere in the country, revolutionized schools with English medium and Byju's content, TOEFL classes, journey from CBSE to IB, tabs, bilingual textbooks, digital classrooms amongst others.”

“Ammavodi scheme to help the mothers to send their children to schools, YSR Sunnavaddi, registration of 31 lakh house titles in the name of women (22 lakh houses under construction), a Mahila police in the village for the protection of women, Disha app,” said CM Jagan while explaining women empowerment schemes implemented by YSRCP.

Chief Minister Jagan addressed the people near Pileru in Kalikri and said, “As the elections are around the corner, Chandrababu is replicating the schemes introduced by YSRCP and merely promising to increase the amount. This is the new low the TDP have sunk to.”

“Though we had promised Rs. 12,500, i.e., Rs. 50,000 for 4 years to help the farmers, after assuming power, we raised the amount to Rs. 13,500, totaling Rs. 67,500 per farmer for 5 years. But now we are raising the amount to Rs. 16,500 every year for the next 5 years to support the farmers,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

He also explained the failed promises of Chandrababu Naidu like the DWCRA loan waiver of Rs. 14,205 Cr. “But through our welfare measures supporting SHGs waived 99.8% of their loans, setting an example for the entire country,” said CM Jagan.

“Chandrababu removed zero-interest loans from October 2016, and it reflects how he handled women's welfare during his 2014-19 tenure. In 2014, CBN's manifesto promised Rs. 25,000 for every girl child born in the family, Rs 10,000 for pregnant women, but nothing materialized,” CM Jagan added.
