Meet Rukmini Kota: New Power Center In Janasena

Rukmini Kota's name may not ring bells immediately. Rukmini's only claim to fame is having Pawan Kalyan's blessings within Janasena Party. A native of Krishna district, Rukmini resided in London. She used to run a branded garments store in London. That's how Rukmini reportedly gained connections with Janasena founder and actor Pawan Kalyan.

According to reports, Rukmini used to handle Pawan kalyan's foreign trips and oversee his arrangements. This got her into the good books of Pawan. Pawan has subsequnetly promoted Rukmini within Janasena party. Rukmini was elevated as the Vice Chairman of Central Affairs Committee in 2020. If we one closely observe, majority of Janasena's important positions are filled with NRIs or the leaders who have connections abroad. This is reportedly to secure funds for the party from the overseas.

Following her elevation within the party, Rukmini has moved to India from London. She started involving in the day-to-day activities of Janasena party. Rukmini was handed over the responsibility of Janasena Hyderabad office and she impressed Pawan again. Rukmini's significance in Janasena is gaining with each passing day. It is buzzed that Rukmini is now even influencing Pawan in various key decisions politically and emerged as imminent threat to No.2 Nadendla Manohar within the party. Now, all the appointments of Pawan Kalyan are handled by Rukmini. So, whoever wants to meet Pawan should only go through Rukmini.

Recently, Rayalaseema Veera Mahila leader Pasupuleti Padmavathi has resigned and she wrote how she was harassed and mentally tortured by Rukmini for over 140 days. All these allegations against Rukmini are falling on the deaf ears. Pawan is giving so much importance to Rukmini that is irking other Janasena leaders. Several Janasena leaders are reportedly planning to leave the party due to Rukmini. It is also rumoured that Nadendla Manohar is also facing the heat.
