Proving this yet again, CM Jagan immediately announced financial aid for the families of fishermen whose boats were reduced to ashes due to a major fire mishap at Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour the other day. Since this directly affects their livelihood, CM Jagan has decided to release the funds without delay. Today, CM Jagan released the funds to the victims, estimating the cost of the mechanized boats and paying a whopping 80 percent of the boat cost. This is after learning that the fishermen's families have no insurance for the boats that were gutted.

It is reported that over 40 mechanized boats were damaged beyond repair in this unfortunate fire accident. Additionally, a free and fair probe is already underway into this mishap. CM Jagan ordered the minister and officials to hand over the cheques to the fishermen's families today. This is just the tip of the iceberg of CM Jagan's swift and efficient actions and measures.

Meanwhile, in another notable move, CM Jagan was supposed to attend a program in Nellore district's Sullurpeta. During the event, CM Jagan was supposed to distribute compensation to fishermen who had suffered losses due to the ONGC pipeline damage. Due to heavy rains, CM Jagan and officials could not reach the region. However, CM Jagan made sure that the benefit reached the beneficiaries on time by making it virtual.

Not wasting any more time, CM Jagan turned it into a virtual event and released an amount of Rs 161.86 crore towards the fishermen's families. This is also an example of CM Jagan's dedication and commitment towards the welfare of the people.
