Chennai, Jan 29 (IANS) A day after Tamil director Ashwath Marimuthu called music director Leon James a ‘gem’, Telugu actor Sundeep Kishen has expressed his appreciation for the music director’s professionalism.

On Wednesday, the Bachelors Anthem 2025 - a single from Sundeep Kishen’s upcoming film ‘Mazaka’ was released. The Bachelors Anthem has been set to tune by Leon James, who despite losing his dad on Monday, has been delivering songs and music on time to filmmakers.

Taking to his X timeline to announce the release of the single, Sundeep Kishen wrote, “Bachelors Anthem 2025 from #Mazaka. Correctga Valentines Day Time ki 1st Single for Singles Release chestunamu. (we are releasing the first single for singles correctly during the period of Valentine’s Day). Special Shout out to our Music Director @leon_James for showing exceptional professional(ism) in such extreme times.Promising you a concert in theatres!”

It may be recalled that music director Leon James lost his dad early on Monday morning. However, he continued to work to ensure he delivered on his professional commitments and simultaneously carried out the final rites of his father, fulfilling his duties as a son.

Soon after releasing the eagerly-awaited break up number ‘En di Vittu pona’ on Tuesday evening, director Ashwath Marimuthu had said, “Leon’s father passed away yesterday early morning as the final mix of the song was happening. It was a shock! I asked him if we can push the song release but he said, ‘No macha, let’s stick to the ‘TIME’ that we have promised.’ It was very emotional for us ! He was mixing the song in his room and managing his father’s final rights in the hall! I didn’t tell production. That’s the respect he shows for TIME , FANS and common audience who love cinema. Isn’t @leon_james a gem? Dedicating ‘En de vittu pona’ to his father!”

Meanwhile, Sundeep Kishen-starrer, Mazaka, has been directed by Thrinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Razesh Danda and Umesh K R Bansal. The film features Ritu Varma, Rao Ramesh, Anshu, Murali Sharma, Srinivas Reddy, Hyper Aadi, Raghu Babu, Ajay and Chammak Chandra among others and is slated for release on February 21.
