Though Kaala's release got delayed, it is doing phenomenal business at the overseas box office especially in Australia.

According to reliable sources, Rajinikanth's Kaala has broken the record set by Rangasthalam at the Australian box office. Guess what? Bharat Ane Nenu is leading the pack and is ahead of the two films in Australia. Rajinikanth's Kaala might break Bharat Ane Nenu's Australia box office record. The initial feedback on Kaala could have helped steamroll its early success. It has been climbing the charts steadily since its release.

Rajinikanth's Kaala is a political drama in which he is portrayed as a mafia don fighting for the people of the slum and their right to own land. Kaala has been directed by Pa.Ranjith and produced by Dhanush.

Coming to Tollywood films, Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Ram Charan's Rangasthalam both did fantastic business at the worldwide box office.
