IYR Slams Critics Of Ramana Deekshitulu
Hyderabad: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary, IYR Krishna Rao slammed those who criticised former head priest of the Tirumala shrine, Ramana Deekshitulu for meeting Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is widely known that Ramana Deekshitulu had sought a CBI probe into the alleged disappearance of jewellery belonging to the Tirumala temple. In this context, the former head priest met YS Jagan here yesterday.
Krishna Rao lashed out at those who criticised Ramana Deekshitulu for meeting the YSRCP Chief. In a tweet the former civil servant said that the former head priest met the AP Leader of Opposition publicly. Some described it as a part of 'Operation Garuda' (drawn up by the BJP to win in southern states, according to actor Sivaji), while others indulged in wild speculation, he said.
IYR Krishna Rao further said that Chandrababu Naidu was the script writer, producer and director of 'Operation Garuda' in the state. The AP Chief Minister used actor Sivaji to express his own thoughts, Rao said. He added that after attributing the statement regarding 'Operation Garuda' to actor Sivaji, Chandrababu alleged that BJP had hatched a conspiracy to destabilize him.
