How To Pass NEET Exam In First Attempt: Kalpana Kumar Success Secret Revealed
NEET results are out and sprung a surpise. Two states considered to be the most backward in India have made it to the top. One being Uttar Pradesh which tops this year’s list of number of students who qualified for the exam and the other being Bihar which produced this year’s topper.
Kalpana, a resident of the Shivhar district in Bihar who topped the exam this year with a whopping 99.9% is overwhelmed by her success.

Sharing her success mantra she says that her hard work with a study time table spanning over 12 –13 hours a day had finally paid off by helping her secure 691 marks out of 720. "I studied NCERT books and coaching material carefully. I also appeared for several mock tests," she says. She presses on the importance of mock tests which according to her helps students to gauge their performance on a constant basis and helps them to learn from their mistakes. “If the concepts are clear one can easily crack any exam,” she says. She has also appeared for the AIIMS entrance exam the results for which are awaited. A total of 13.36 lakh students applied for the exam, out of whom 12 lakh have actually attempted it and only 7.14 lakh clearing it. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Kerala hold top 3 positions in the total number of candidates clearing the exam. The second rank is jointly held by Telangana's Rohan Purohit and Delhi's Himanshu Sharma while the third position is bagged by Aarosh Dhamija from Delhi and Prince Chaudhary from Rajasthan. The Central Board for secondary education (CBSE) conducts NEET every year for admissions into Medical and Dental courses in colleges with the approval of the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI).
