Monsoon To Hit Telugu States Within 2 Days

Visakhapatnam: The Meteorological department has announced here today that the south west monsoon will touch Telugu states - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana within a couple of days. The officials said mild rainfall was likely today itself and the rainfall in the country would be above normal this year.

A few days ago the south west monsoon touched Andaman and Nicrobar islands. But there was depression that was hampering its progress. The depression spread from Vidarbha to Telangana and was reaching the southern part of Tamil Nadu. But due to this there were chances of slight rainfall occurring in few places across the two states.
