2 Uppal Sanitary Workers Die Of Suffocation In Manhole

Two contract sanitary workers who went down a manhole to clean it outside gate no.1 of Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Uppal, died of suffocation today. The deceased were contract workers employed by L&T in Hyderabad and were identifed as Santosh and Vijay from Odisha. They were working on a water pipeline project and got down into the manhole. Eyewitnesses said that both the workers died of suffocation.
