RGV To Start Film School For Aspiring Actors, Directors
Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma, who always grabs headlines is in news again with his latest decision to opening a film school to teach acting and direction. The school which has been named RGV Unschool will be set up in association with New York based Dr Ram Swaroop and Swetha Reddy.

RGV who made his directorial debut with Shiva is known to speak his mind and dubbed as the most bold director till date. He remains an an inspiration to most of the aspiring directors. People who worked as assistant directors for Varma have turned directors and doing well for themselves in Telugu film industry. We can say that RGV's teaching skills worked very well for these directors which helped the latter establish their career. Though RGV always gets himself embroiled in controversies with his remarks, many film personalities still look up to him for his creative mind. Directors like Krishna Vamsi, Puri Jagannadh, Teja and Guna Sekhar have worked with RGV as assistant directors in the past.
In his 29 years of career, RGV has made over 80 films across industries and it is no mean feat for a director to be a part of so many movies in such a short span.
It is also learnt that guest lectures by RGV's students (directors) will be arranged at the film school which also includes their experiences and struggles to establish themselves in the industry.
