BJP Condemns TTD Staff Sporting Black Badges

Tirumala: Erstwhile Telugu cinema actress and BJP leader Kavitha took serious note of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) employees sporting black badges and working. She criticised the TTD staff and slammed their attitude saying that this was a totally unethical practice.
Speaking to media here today, she said already a lot of damage has been done to the sanctity of the temple and now with the employees sporting black badges it was directly affecting the sentiments of the devotees. Kavitha called upon the ruling TDP government in Andhra Pradesh to intervene and sort out the employees issues.
The employees were sporting black badges as a protest against the former Head Priest Ramana Deekshitulu's attitude. The employees said that the former Head Priest was defaming the temple and hence they have decided to sport black badges for three days and attend to duties.
