Former TTD Head Priest Ramana Deekshitulu - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: The spat between former Head Priest of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Ramana Deekshitulu and Andhra Pradesh government has reached country's capital New Delhi. It is learnt that Ramana Deekshitulu has approached Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh against the decision of the TTD Board on the retirement age of the priests in TTD maintained temples. With this latest move the former Head Priest has intensified fight against the AP government and TTD Board and he was also planning to sit on indefinite hunger strike.

Ramana Deekshitulu is likely to demand a CBI probe into the missing items of jewellery which were donated to the deity. In this regard he is likely to meet BJP MP Subramanya Swamy this evening in New Delhi. The priest is likely to explain to Subramanya Swamy the system that TTD was following all these years. The introduction of new policy would not be welcomed by anyone who follows Aagamana Shashtra.

On the other hand, Chief Minister N Chandrababu was finally reacting to the developments happening at TTD and he has called for review meeting. The meeting would be attended by TTD Board Chairman as well as senior officials of TTD.
