Why is Chandrababu Scared If He Has Done No Wrong, Asks Kanna
The Andhra Pradesh President of BJP, Kanna Lakshminarayana said Chandrababu Naidu had resorted to massive corruption in Polavaram and Pattiseema projects. This is the reason why he has been harping on the likelihood of cases being foisted against him. Kanna participated in the meeting of party presidents of all states in Delhi held by national president Amit Shah. Speaking to the media after the meeting, he said that it was nothing but failure on the part of Chandrababu Naidu to have missed out on the opportunity of central assistance for AP which would have been equivalent to Special Category Status.
Kanna pointed out that the Centre had fulfilled 85% of the promises made to the state of Andhra Pradesh and that it would fulfil the remaining ones as well. As BJP president of the state, he would strive to do his utmost to ensure that justice is done to Andhra Pradesh in this respect, he said. It is clear from the manner in which Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been saying that the Centre would act against him, that he has committed some wrong and is involved in corruption, according to Kanna Lakshminarayana.
Chandrababu Naidu seems to get startled by the very mention of cases. Why is he afraid if he has committed no wrong? This was the question, said the AP BJP President.
Chandrababu Naidu made a U-turn on SCS only after seeing the persistent struggle of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly and YSRCP president, he pointed out.
Kanna dismissed rumours of an alliance between BJP and YSRCP in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu has been supporting the Congress indirectly after breaking his ties with the BJP at the Centre, he said. Kanna expressed his thanks to the party president Amit Shah and general secretary Ram Madhav for having made him President of the Andhra Pradesh unit.
