Vasantha Krishnaprasad Bids Goodbye To TDP, Joins YSRCP
Vijayawada: The exodus from Telugu Desam Party into YSR Congress Party seems to be growing by the day. The latest to have come into the YSRCP fold is former TDP leader from Mylavaram in Krishna district, and son of former minister Vasantha Nageswara Rao and renowned industrialist Vasantha Krishnaprasad. Krishnaprasad today joined YSRCP in the presence of the party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
YS Jagan was on his historic mass outreach programme Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Krishna district's Kailauru. Krishnaprasad and his father Nageswara Rao along with hundreds of their followers reached YS Jagan's camp this morning in Kaikaluru and joined YSRCP. Both the leaders were welcomed in the traditional manner by the YSRCP Chief.
Speaking to the media after joining YSRCP, Krishnaprasad said that an increasing number of people were attracted to the good work that was being done by YS Jagan. The YSRCP Chief's relentless fight for Special Category Status to AP and all other issues have inspired many political leaders in the state. Both Krishnaprasad and his father Nageswara Rao promised to strengthen YSRCP and the leadership of YS Jagan.
Krishnaprasad asserted that YS Jagan would be the next Chief Minister of AP and expressed his confidence that once YSRCP comes to power the state would get on to development track.
