One Held in Hyderabad For Paytm Phishing 

Hyderabad: The Cyber Cell Police of Rachakonda had held a person on the charges of phishing here today. The person was identified as V Anil Kumar (25), native of Warangal district was former employee of Paytm and he was held for Paytm phishing.

According to police, Anil Kumar had worked at Paytm in Hyderabad from 2016 to 2017. He hatched a plan to cheat people by collecting the bank account details of Paytm customers on the pretext of 'Know Your Customer'. After gathering the details he stole money from their accounts.

Anil Kumar was produced before the court and has been remanded in judicial custody.
