Pakistan Praises Tipu Sultan On Death Anniversary
After the huge political war that broke out last time between Congress and BJP and all the other political parties in Karnataka during Tipu Jayanti last year, the political outfits in the Kannada state seem to be taking it easy this year. How else would you explain the absence of any tributes on Twitter from any of the political parties on Tipu Sultan's death anniversary? With the upcoming elections, every party wants to play it safe and not take any risks that would put their party's fortune in jeopardy.
However, the Tiger of Mysore who prevented the British from taking complete control for a long time. His religion became a bone of contention between the two parties from over calling him a freedom fighter. Strangely, Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi who are now campaigning in Karnataka has tweeted about Tipu.

So, now with all the parties in India giving him a royal ignore, the late valiant ruler of Mysore has got a mention from unexpected quarters. And No. We are not referring to any state in India at all. It's the Pakistan government which has heaped praises on Tipu Sultan.
