Atrocities On Women: YSRCP To Lead Candlelight Protests Across AP

Hyderabad: YSRCP would lead candle light protests against atrocities on women and minors in Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday evening across the state, Ongole MP and senior party leader, YV Subba Reddy announced here today.  The protest will be held at 6:30 tomorrow all the 13 districts of the state, he said.

YS Jagan’s mass contact initiative, Praja Sankalpa Yatra, would enter West Godavari district on the 14th of this month, the Ongole MP stated. YV Subba Reddy announced that the historic milestone of 2000 km would be reached at Eluru.   He also stated that party workers and leaders would stage Padayatra protests across the state on the 14th and 15th of this month against betrayal of promises by Chandrababu Naidu.  This will be followed by massive protests marking deception by Chandrababu Naidu on the 16th of this month in front of District collectorates across the state. The protests will be followed by submission of petitions to the district collectors.

The Ongole MP said that Chandrababu Naidu had already come to an understanding with the BJP.  While criticising the BJP publicly, Chandrababu nominated a Maharashtra minister’s wife to the TTD Board.  The YSRCP MP questioned Chandrababu on the intrigue and ambivalence surrounding his actions.

YV Subba Reddy observed that in four years of the TDP rule no industries came up in the state of Andhra Pradesh.  He also said that Chandrababu Naidu gave several false assurances and promises about millions of jobs in Andhra Pradesh which failed to materialise.  Corruption ruled the roost in Andhra Pradesh, the senior YSRCP leader pointed out.  He criticised Chandrababu Naidu for having turned Andhra Pradesh into a state reeking of corruption at all levels.
