Newborn’s Body Found In Plastic Bag At Hyderabad Zoo Park

Hyderabad: The body of a newborn baby girl was found at Nehru Zoological Park in the city on Monday. The body was wrapped in a plastic bag and was left at the roadside parking.

According to the police, passersby noticed the body in the bag at the truck parking area beside the park and informed police. The police rushed to the spot and found the newborn already died. “We suspect she may have died at the hospital and her parents abandoned her body in a secluded place. Luckily no animals noticed the body,” said M Shiva Krishna, SI Bahadurpura.

The police shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem and are on a search to trace the baby's parents.
