Newborn Girl Flushed Down Toilet At Kerala Clinic

coming back to this story, a two-day-old baby girl was found in a toilet drain. This incident came to light at a clinic in Palakkad's Malappuram in Kerala where plumbers who were working to clear the clogged drain found a ball-like object in the toilet drain which had caused the commode to choke. When the plumbers removed the body it wasn't in decomposed yet and the baby's placenta was intact, it is learnt. The clinic belongs to one Dr Abdul Rahman.

The police suspect either the infant's parents flushed the baby down the toilet drain or the woman abandoned the child after delivering it in the commode as the placenta was still attached to the baby.

The police is examining the records of patients at the clinic. Meanwhile, the body of the baby has been sent to Thrissur Medical college for post-mortem.
