Film: Nene Raju Nene Mantri
Cast: Rana Daggubati, Kajal Aggarwal, Catherine Tresa
Director: Teja
Producer: Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainments
Music: Anoop Rubens
Three movies are slugging it out on Friday and filmmaker Teja's Nene Raju Nene Mantri is one among them. Post Baahubali, this is the second release from Rana . Will the actor be successful in leaving an trademark imprint with this film? Director Teja has donned the hat after a long time.... will this be a game-turner for him?

Story
The film is a political thriller, a genre rare in Telugu cinema. Actor Rana plays Jogendra, a small business man with a million-dollar dreams. The film is a take off on a small time broker turning into a politician. From contesting for a sarpanch elections to earn a ministerial berth, Jogendra sees it all and becomes a bigwig in no time. But what makes him to resign and join the contest as an independent candidate forms the bedrock of the story.
Will he able to supersede his rivals and become successful in cementing his position forms the Crux of the story. Kajal Aggarwal, sharing screen space for the first time with Rana, has essayed her role well. The chemistry between the duo is crackling, but one feels her portion adds no value. Overall, it's an interesting take by Teja and is a one-time watch.
