Nellore Techie Goes Missing In Chennai

Chennai: A 23-year-old software engineer from Nellore has been missing for the last four days. He is working in an MNC in the city.

Kancharla Venkat Sai Teja, a native of Thorrur in Nellore had completed BTech from SRM University in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. He was working as a senior engineer in MindTree at Chennai branch and was staying with his friends at a rented house in Neelankarai.

On Saturday evening, Venkat went out on his motorbike and did not return. After searching all over, his friends lodged a complaint with police on his missing. Venkat’s parents reached Chennai after learning her son has gone missing. The police found his slippers at the beach but failed to trace him.

Even after four days, the police are busy in searching Venkat. "We have inquired some of his friends from college if they are aware of his whereabouts," a police officer said.
