Nellore: Hijras harass man to death

We often come across situations where you are suddenly surrounded by Hijras demanding money from you. Traffic signals, trains, buses are the common places where commuters feel harassed by these Hijras.

While some leave you in peace, several others make life miserable for you if you don't yield to their demands. One such situation took a ugly turn on Thursday. The victim was a resident of Madhya Pradesh. The man identified as Dharmendra Patel, was traveling by train to his native place.

Hijras demanded Rs 10,000 from Dharmendra Patel. Instead of accepting the money, the Hijras continued to harass him. It didn't stop there, Patel was thrown out of the train when he confronted them at Naidupeta in Nellore district.

He was admitted to a nearby hospital. But sadly, he died while undergoing treatment on Friday.
