NDA govt will certainly grant special status to AP: Minister

Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh): Union Minister Y S Chowdary on Thursday said the NDA government will ensure that all the promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill, including the special status and special package to the state, will be fulfilled.

Andhra Pradesh will be accorded special status and the NDA Government will sanction special package to the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that all the promises made in the AP Re-organisation Act will be fulfilled, the Union Minister of state for Science and Technology and Earth Science said here on Thursday after visiting a temple in Krishna district. We have have successfully completed the new capital Amaravati foundation programme with the co-operation of the farmers of Tulluru area, he said.
