Nayeem’s Wife, Niece Given To Police Custody For 7 Days

Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar court on Monday issued orders allowing the slain gangster Nayeem’s wife and niece for police custody for seven days. Narsingi police filed a petition in the court seeking Nayeem’s wife Haseena Begum and niece Saajida for their custody for further interrogation.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing into the cases against the Naxalite-turned-extortionist is speeding up the investigation.

After filing 73 cases against Nayeem, SIT arrested over 77 culprits in connection with criminal activity of the gangster. Several names of politicians and officials are making rounds in the media. However, so far no name was officially revealed by the Police department.
