Nayeem Case To Be Handled By SIT

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has decided to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the former Naxalite Nayeem’s case. The SIT members would be announced by DGP Anurag Sharma on Wednesday.

The police, who found a huge of cache of information on land sale deeds, documents and diaries of the slain renegade Naxal, are flummoxed by the riches of the Nayeem. It is believed that he owned properties in neighbouring states too.

They are collecting information about his wealth from his family members and acolytes.
The police say that Nayeem led an extremely opulent life. SIT could unravel a lot more information about him, they said.
