PM Modi Inaugurates Kartarpur Sahib Corridor

GURDASPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kartarpur Sahib corridor on Friday, November 9. PM Modi thanked Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for understanding and respecting the Indians sentiment  India and Pakistan have jointly undertaken the Kartarpur Corridor Project, linking Darbar Sahib with the tomb of Guru Nanak Dev.

Kartarpur Corridor connects Pakistan's Kartarpur with the Dera Baba Nanak Mosque in India's Gurdaspur district of Punjab. Indian travelers those who don't have Visa can also be allowed to reach Kartarpur on the banks of the Ravi river.

Speaking at the inauguration, PM Modi said that he was fortunate to have been able to dedicate the Kartarpur corridor to India. PM Further added that the opening of the corridor and the integrated check post will double up the happiness of the people.

PM Modi also praised Guru Nanak's vision in his speech, and thanked UNESCO as it had finalised to establish an inter-faith university in Amritsar.

He concluded asking all the Indians to take a pledge on that everyone will make Guru Nanak's words a part of their lives.
