Baby Boy Dies After Monkey Drops Stone On Him In UP

Muzaffarnagar: In a freak accident, a four-month-old baby died after a monkey dropped a stone on him. The incident happened at his home in Sohjani village of Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district on Saturday.

The incident happened under the jurisdiction limits of Titawi police station area.

The monkey was on the terrace while the baby boy was on the ground floor with his parents, police said. The monkey picked up a stone lying on the terrace that slipped from its grip and fell on the boy leaving him with serious injuries.

The baby was rushed to a hospital. Doctors declared him brought dead.
