It Took A Tweet To Clean Washroom Of Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport

Bengaluru: India's former foreign secretary Nirupama Menon Rao called out Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru for its unhygienic conditions in their washrooms.
She tweeted about the condition of the washroom in the International airport lounge of the airport and shared pictures of broken fittings in the toilet and overflowing trash cans of the bathroom. She tagged the Bengaluru airport on her Twitter post.

Bengaluru airport's Twitter account immediately responded saying they have alerted concerned department to look into the issue.
Hello Mrs. Rao, thank you for bringing this to our notice & apologize for the unpleasant experience at BLR lounge. We have escalated this issue to the concerned department to look into the matter at the earliest.

Few hours later, they replied Rao with images of the same toilet but clean and new fixed fittings.
