Hindu Politician Takes Islamophobia To New Heights, Refuses To See Muslim Anchor
New Delhi: After Zomato shut out a bigoted man who wanted to change his delivery valet because he was a 'non-Hindu', another such incident has come to the fore.
The founder of a right-wing religious group called 'Hum Hindu' Ajay Gautam literally shut his eyes to avoid seeing a Muslim anchor on Live TV. Gautam was invited on a television news channel News24, to discuss the Zomato incident. When he saw the anchor Khalid, he right away refused to see the newscaster and put his hands over his eyes as if to refrain from seeing him.

After the incident, editor-in-chief of News24, Anurradha Prasad put out a statement on Twitter saying the newsroom was shocked at the inappropriate and condemnable behaviour and have decided to not call Gautam in any of the channels news shows henceforth.
The clip has gone viral with many condemning the incident. In fact, Hindu leader Brijesh Kalappa also condemned the move.
