IIT JEE Results 2019: 3 From Telangana,1 From AP Score Perfect 100
New Delhi: Twenty-four students scored a perfect 100 in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for admission into engineering colleges, the results of which were announced by the HRD Ministry's National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday.
Shubhan Srivastava from Delhi topped the list at No 1 in the top 10 ranks.
While four top scorers were from Delhi , Karnataka Madhya Pradesh and Punjab.
While three students from Telangana- Battepati Karthikeya, Adelly Sai Kiran, and K Vishwanath secured fifth, seventh, and eight rank respectively in the JEE . Konda Renu, was the only one from Andhra Pradesh who secured a ninth rank.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared Battepati Karthikeya as state topper from Telangana and Konda Renu as topper from Andhra Pradesh.
The JEE-Main was conducted two times this year in January and April in online mode from 8 to 12 January, 2019 and 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 April,
"For those candidates who appeared in both January and April examinations, their best score of the two attempts, has been accounted for. Out of 6.8 lakh candidates appearing in both the attempts, 2.97 lakh candidates have improved their performance," a senior official said.
A total of 11,47,125 candidates appeared in JEE Main in January and April. The NTA scores for Paper-2 (BArch and BPlanning) will be declared on or before 15 May, 2019.
