Pulwama Attack : Slain Soldier’s Father Ready To Sacrifice Other Son For India
New Delhi: Father of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier Ratan Thakur who was killed in the Pulwama attack said that he was ready to sacrifice another son for the service of the country. Getting emotional, he expressed his angst by saying that Pakistan should be given a befitting reply for the dastardly killing of the soldiers. Hailing from Bhagalpur in Bihar, Ratan Thakur was one among the 44 soldiers who lost his life in the terror attack.
An armed terrorist rammed a jeep filled with explosives into the convoy of vehicles in which the CRPF personnel were travelling. A total of 70 vehicles were present in the CRPF convoy as the personnel were moving to another base.
Pakistan based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohhamed has claimed the responsibility for the attack and the Union government has made strong comments about the nexus between terrorist outfits and the Pakistan government.
Pakistan condemned the attack and added that they have never supported terror attacks. The United States has also made a statement over Pakistan’s role on the attack and remarked that Pakistan should refrain from supporting terrorist outfits in the country.
